Brittany Murphy dies of a cardiac arrest at 32 years old.
Brittany Murphy’s mother discovered her, unconscious in the shower, early Sunday morning.
The actress, who was only 32, went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Fire officials say they received a call from Murphy’s husband,Simon Monjack, around 8 a.m. She was pronounced dead on arrival after being taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
She was a great actress and known for her roles in 8 Mile Clueless, Just Married Girl Interrupted Don’t Say A Word.
Her husband Simon Monjack is opposing an autopsy despite Monjack’s wishes, the L.A. County Coroner’s office will perform an autopsy on Murphy.
According to NY Daily News:
“She underwent a transformation from a too-pudgy-for-Hollywood brunette to a skinny blonde whose ample cleavage landed her in Maxim’s 100 hottest women in 2003.
After appearing underweight with super-plump lips in the last few years, rumors have swirled about drug use and plastic surgery.”
She has been one of my favorites since “Clueless“. She will be genuinely missed.
