Was it premature for President Barack Obama to grade himself just yet?

President Barack Obama has been in office for less than a year. He has inherited a tumultuous war, high unemployment rates, a crumbled financial economy; the list continues.

Perhaps he hasn’t reduced the unemployment rate,  just yet; but he is working on assisting people by:

American’s who are struggling see the difference President Barack is making. It’s the people who have jobs and who are not worried who have the most judgment on what he is or is not doing.

At the moment, some people feel he spoke to soon to give him a grade of a “B+”. We love our president, we truly do, but it appears a little arrogant in a way to give yourself a B+ in less than a year. But, if you can’t believe in yourself, who will?

Is it for effort, because nothing has truly materialized yet? In response to his grading, President Obama said on Oprah’s special, “It’s irrelevant to people who are facing foreclosure and losing their jobs and can’t send their kids to college”. I believe more people would have more respect for him if he replied “I don’t have a grade just yet”. His approval rating has dropped significantly since coming into office.

He’s working on it, we give him that and I believe the majority of the population have complete confidence in him. He is an incredibly intelligent, charismatic, insightful man. Who wins a Nobel Peace Prize in a matter of months? That was a surprise to him as much as it was to the world. I suppose he won the award based on his on going effort to stabilize our country and his commitment to open communication with other world leaders.

I justly believe near the end of his first term, he will earn a well admirable B+, and possibly an A, if he gets the health care reform bill passed.

What do you think his grade should be thus far?
